My SWVA Opportunity Cup Applications Now Available

This Fall, My Southwest Virginia Opportunity will host the first annual My Southwest Virginia Opportunity Cup in Southwest Virginia.  Modeled after the 2013 My Southwest Virginia Opportunity Entrepreneur Challenge, the Cup is a level II entrepreneur challenge for existing businesses looking to expand with additional job creation in Southwest Virginia. Given the number of new local competitions since 2013, the Cup will accept the winners and completers of each lower level competition in PDC 1, 2 and 3. The goal of the program is to incentivize existing businesses that support regional strategies and encourage business expansion plans for future growth, as well as encourage networks for entrepreneurs and opportunities to learn from each other’s successes.
