The UVa-Wise student has a plan to develop The Vault Sleeve, an original custom made football sleeve that is designed to enhance ball control for all ball carriers.
James thinks it’s important that young people explore entrepreneurial opportunities. “Innovation isn’t just something that happens in big cities,” says James. When you think about it, it’s more of a frontier here–it’s probably easier to get a foothold and assistance in a place like this, and there are a lot of resources here to help.”
“And we can make things in Southwest Virginia,” says James. “I want to create something here, make it here, and ship it everywhere.” With the help of The Vault Sleeve, James may also have a firm grip on an exciting future.
