“I’ve made a lot of connections and learned a lot,” says Cloyd. “Price and quality are critical, as is dependability.” Dependable sources for fresh seafood are infrequent in Southwest Virginia, so Cloyd thinks he might see an opportunity.
“With the quality of life here and more people finding out about the area and choosing to settle here, I think we could create something special,” says Cloyd, “a bit of coastal flavor in the mountains.”
