2018 Community Coaching Summit

The 4rd Annual Community Coaching Summit is just a few weeks away. We are looking forward to a great event on October 29 -30, 2018 in Norton, VA. As in previous years, we will gather to discuss ways to support and strengthen our SWVA communities as they revitalize. This year we will emphasize relationship building and how it applies to leadership in the community. During the Summit, we will delve into discussions about engaging community members in aspects of community development and collectively come up with strategies to enhance the work that we do.

On October 29, we’ll offer adventures throughout Norton. After you RSVP you’ll be able to select from a guided bus tour (Downtown Norton, High Knob, Flag Rock, Powell River Trail in Appalachia, the Greenbelt project in Big Stone Gap, and Powell Valley Overlook), a three-mile hike in Flag Rock recreation area, a five-mile trail run in Flag Rock recreation area, a mountain bike ride or a guided nature tour.
